2021 Creede 'Cruisin the Canyon Car Show'
What one notices first about this compact Colorado Mountain town (elev. 8,800') is its most prominent feature - the gaping maw of Willow Creek Canyon. Herein lies the major clue to Creede's history of a rough & tuff 19c silver mining town. This canyon was also the main entrance to 'The Bachelor Loop' that once contained congested complex of mines along its entire 20 mile circuit.
That said: what a place for hundreds classic cars and street rods lined up for view on main street with every city block of this small town packed with spectator automobiles. What a wonderful day it was on this mid September, sun-filled, Autumn Day!
