Texas - Independence

Located in the rolling countryside of Washington County - birthplace of Texas independence - Independence is a quint and beautiful little town. It is also the birthplace of the Old Baylor Women's College founded in 1846 - its columned ruins now immortalized in a coven of ancient live oak trees in Old Baylor Park.
