The Big Bend Country

The Big Bend area lies in far Southwest corner of Texas, and so named for the great bend that the Rio Grand River makes along the border with Mexico. The land here in the Chihuahuan Desert is vast and, though hot, dry, and desolate, it is truly beautiful in it's ruggedness and wide open character.
